    I'm currently on Linuxforums.org, and I cannot discern the nature of your problem. Perhaps you can explain further.

    on my host machine i run win 7..but on guest i run backtrack5 on virtual machine..i cant detect networks on wicd on backtrack...maybe it has sumthing to do with my network setting on vm..i dunno

    I would imagine your VM would need access to your PCI wireless device. Not all VMs allow you to do this.
