Ubuntu Live CD
I am currently using Windows 7 and I want to try Ubuntu on a live cd to see what it is like.
When I go to Ubuntu.com, click on the try it from a cd or usb part and click on start download, it comes up with a box (I am using Firefox) asking if I want to open with Nero Express or whether I want to save file.
Should I save the file or open it?

Hello and Welcome!
You can do either. If you decide to save the file, you can burn it a later time, if you choose.
If you open it with Nero, it will automatically ask you if you want to burn the image after downloading.*
Either way, make sure that, when you burn to disc, burn it as an image.
For some tips on how to burn, take a look at this page: http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/ins...ll-cd-dvd.html
*I would assume that's the case. I've never used Nero.
