Can move certain files to usb flash drive!?
Hi I've been trying to copy a few htm files and a few folders with the web pages contents in it but I keep getting a message saying "could not write..." its been fine before copying things to the same usb drive but for some reason it doesn't like these files.

Have you accidentally write protected you thumb drive? Do you have permission to write to the drive etc etc?

I use SD cards in USB carriers so they look like regular thumb drives. However, occasionally when pushing the card into the carrier slot, the write-lock slide will be pushed to the lock position, making the device read-only... Anyway, run the mount command (without arguments) with the device plugged into the system and post the output back here.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!
