    You can download a free & legal recovery disk here: Windows 7 Repair and Recovery CD Download | The NeoSmart Files and use that to repair your windows system. It probably won't restore the Ubuntu entry on the bootloader so you may need to remove Ubuntu via the control panel & re-install.

    Thank you. I'll get back when I've done repairing Win7.

    By the way, do you know any way of somewhat formatting my HD without uninstalling my OS?

    I just created a System Repair Disc using my Vaio Desktop and it worked. Now, my laptop started with Win7. What do you suggest I do now?

    Try the Ubuntu re-install & see if it restores the dual boot. Windows 7 should be the primary entry, don't try to change that.

    Would you think that burning it into a CD before I install it a better thing to do? If so, what should I download?
