i have fedora-17-i686-live-kde iso. opening it with 7 zip ,i find another iso inside. will it work if i burn original iso?...

When you download the ISO, make sure you burn it as an ISO, not copy it. Set your BIOS to boot from the cd/dvd drive, and restart your computer with the burned disk in the drive. It should boot your computer into a live session from which you can try fedora, or install it to your HDD.

my query was based on my experience with windows iso, where a set-up exe, and other files make a bootable cd/dvd, but no more iso inside.
but in Fedora, live cd is found as iso inside the original iso.
this confuses me.
may be Linux is made this way.
i'll make a bootable flash drive &try it!
because i want to avoid installing a 3 year old Debian linux from dvd[BOSS LINUX]

There's a folder called isolinux in the Fedora 17 iso I have downloaded but no second iso file
