    wifi authentication


    my newly installed Ubuntu system recognizes my wireless network but authentication fails even though I'm entering the correct WEP key.Any suggestions?

    Note: This information is to help you research the problem. I can't open some of the links inside of the second link. But, maybe this will give you some ideas for some things to try. Most of the info that I found on this problem was pretty old. You may also want to look in to upgrading to a newer kernel version and see if that fixes it.
