compatible file system for linux kernel 3.4.1

I am poring linux-3.4.1 kernel on TI-DM6467 Da-vinci board.I hav bootloader ported on the board. When I transfer the uImage of the kernel to the board using TFTP, error pops up regarding Root file system as follows:
    "Kernel panic:VFS can't mount NFS root/block[20]"

Any idea why am i getting such a message?can anyone suggest a suitable filesystem version and link to download for my platform and my kernel?

    Thanks,
    Yogesh

Going over the installation instructions for your board, the filesystem is OK, NFS is what the board uses. Don't know if this will help, but this guy had a similar problem (with a different TI board) and solved it by adding bootdelay=15 to his bootargs. Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(2,0) - DM814x and AM387x Processors Forum - DaVinci

The TI info on alternate boot methods might help: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index....e_Boot_Methods

If nothing here works for you, you can post your problem on http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinc...sors/f/99.aspx and get help from the REAL experts!
