    Boot Time Log

    I am trying to figure out where i can find a log of the text that shows a list of which modules load / what the system is doing at boot time for my Debian Distro. Do i need a specific daemon configured or is there a log automatically made.

    These are the modules that load up during the beginning

    Code:
    mod=`lsmod | awk '{print $1}'`
    for i in "${mod[@]}"
    do
     modinfo $i > modules.txt
     echo >> modules.txt
    done
    Code:
    dmesg # This brings up the startup messages, I agree with the first respondent
