    Lost on Printer Installation (BackTrack)

I'm trying to install the driver to use my Epson NX415 printer on Backtrack 5 R3 and I get stuck with this message:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
rpm: Depends: librpm3 (>= 4.10.0) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: librpmbuild3 (>= 4.10.0) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: librpmio3 (>= 4.10.0) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: librpmsign1 (>= 4.10.0) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: rpm2cpio but it is not going to be installed
Depends: rpm-common (= 4.10.0-4) but 4.7.2-1lbuild1 is to be installed
    E: Broken packages

I am utterly lost and don't know what to do or how to fix this.

I get the error message after typing in apt-get install rpm after following this step:
    root@bt:~/rpmbuild/SPECS# rpmbuild -ba --clean epson-inkjet-printer-escpr.spec
The program 'rpmbuild' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
    apt-get install rpm

I still can't print and I've tried to install three times now with the same error. I am following these directions: h t t p ://avasys.jp/eng/linux_driver/download/lsb/epson-inkjet/escpr/README.html#sec7
