    Noob that needs help!

I just installed Linux Mint 13 on my laptop while I was running Windows 7.
    So, I have a concern:
Also, whenever I shut down my computer, and boot up Linux Mint 13 again from the starting boot menu, it's like I never did anything on Linux, previously.
I have to enter my Wifi password, again.
I have to download Google Chrome, again.
Help???? I need help. As soon as possible.
    Please!
    Thanks in advance!!!!

So you used the mint4win program to install Mint inside windows as a program, is that correct? How did you install? Live CD/DVD? flash drive? Are you still booting with the CD/DVD flash drive? Did you get a message at the end of the Mint install indicating it completed successfully and asking you to reboot? The behavior you are reporting would be expected if you are still booting the Live CD. Post the requested information as well as drive/partition information.

    Post your results of
    #fdisk -l
    #cat /boot/grub/grub.conf
Do you have a dual boot or you just forgot to eject the cd/dvd.

Please, next time make your subject specific and related to the question.
