I think i'm going to clear the drives out apart from the 2nd disk where all my backup are kept. Then format.
Now I've not got windows on my PC ...

Now I've not got windows on my PC any more but probably will test out other flavours of linux soon!
So my main drive sda I will use 500gb for the main linux which i will re-install pinguy on.
Let me know if i'm wrong on any of these assumptions
- swap should be same amount as installed ram(mine being 4gb),
- /boot is not needed on modern pcs?
- i've been splitting the / and /home equally from the space left
