    Linux question PLEASE HELP

I am somewhat familiar with Linux but I would not be very proficient. I am trying to do a college paper and my question is

Is it possible to create a cd and burn linux tools like DD, Netcat, FMData and Volume_dump and run these tools from the cd on a linux computer .

Any guidance would be really helpful

    Hi and welcome.

The binaries would need to be made for the architecture of a given Linux machine.
Additionally they would need to be compiled static.
Or have all their dependencies on libs fullfilled.

Even then there might be issues with certain default locations for e.g. conf files.

I wouldnt recommend that CD approach.
Install the tools via the native packagemanagers instead, aka yum and apt
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
