I'd wait for rubberman to post but to me. I see no/any/nada wireless hardware in your readouts. Let alone a broadcom wireless chip.

The system is not recognizing the b43 hardware. It is either not installed properly, or it is not being powered. If it is a USB dongle, make sure it is plugged into a powered USB port. Not all of your external USB ports may have enough power for a WiFi transceiver. If it is bus-connected, then perhaps it is faulty, or not plugged into the bus properly, or into a wrong bus slot type.

Ok. I just looked at the specs for the aspire one - it is a netbook. The internal WiFi can be either USB or PCI. Does this work when Windows boots?

If it is an external dongle, plug it in before you boot, just to be sure it is seen on the initial system scan by the OS.

Now I tried with PCLinuxOS live and it didn't let me execute the code 'cause i was logged as guest and not as root... But the interesting thing is that it allowed me to connect to the wi-fi. It is the only one that it allowed me that, not even puppy has manage to... Anyway now I'll try again with Mint and I'll send you the codes.
