    Remote Desktop to Linux machines

    Hi,

I know that RealVNC and TightVNC software's are used to setup a Remote Desktop connection from a Windows machine to a Linux machine.

My only question is that, whether there is any way that I can connect to the linux machine desktop?Right now when I connect using the VNCViewer I see a terminal running. There is no desktop.

    Thanks,
