    Dual Boot Problem

    Hiee all,

i hv some problem in my pc. As i want your help on that.
In my pc, I hv install win XP & Centos 5.5 (Linux)
Last 2 days back, i created ramdisk in centos & mounted on directory.
After that i restart pc to login in XP.
Am getting splash screen & getting both booting option.
    1) centOS
    2) Win XP (Other)

When i select win XP, its not booting & again that splash screen comes. My CentOS working fine.
I used Hiren bootable & boot from mini XP. From that i saw all my partitions & i take my c drive backup also.

I tried to boot from winXP bootable cd, Its booting from cd. after that i m able to see only one line
pc checking hardware configuration..... (when we load new os that time 1 line come)
after that my screen get blank.. m not able to see anything after that. it get blank.. Bcoz of that m not able to install fresh OS (XP).
Request you to please help me out.

    Hi and Welcome !

We have to check Partition Structure of your Hard disk. Boot up CentOS and execute this in Terminal
    Code:
    su -c 'fdisk -l'
    Post output here.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Did you install XP on the primary partition and Linux on the logical? The dual boot won't work if you did otherwise.
