    Terminal (putty/ssh terminal) related


    I have a question, suppose I've started perl module installation for qmail at ssh terminal to a remote host. As you know these modules sometime ask user input. If i close my terminal window, what will happen to the process? if the process is still running, how do i reopen it to see if it require any user input?

    Unless you are using screen or tmux after you logged in to the remote system, when closed your terminal, it terminated your install that you were doing.
