Exclamation Chrome OS Linux and Wine Help

Hi Y'all! I recently unlocked the Linux that is hiding under the Chrome OS on my Chromebook. I've used Ubuntu before and messed around a little with Mint but I can not figure out how to get wine onto this version of Linux. It says that it is Linux 3.4.0, is there a wine available for my version? Thanks for the help!

For Kernel 3.4.0 try Wine 1.6 stable. First serch in the search box of the package installer, then in google. See also on the web page of wine (Wine Headquarters) at: WineHQ - Wine Binary Downloads

I've downloaded that and it gives me an error saying "application/x-tar cannot be downloaded on this system". This is why its confusing me.

Ask the developers of the kernel at kernel.org and/or the developers of wine at WineHQ about that.
You may try to start the app from the terminal with option --verbose to see what it is doing.
