    Installing compiler

I have a BF(brainf***) compiler. But in order to use it, it must be put in a directory so it can compile something and I have to type "./bf code.b". How can I somehow install it so that wherever directory I am, I can just do "bf code.b"?

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
Put it somewhere reasonable, such as /usr/local/bin, and then alter your PATH variable to look there for executables. IE:
    mv bf /usr/local/bin
    export PATH="${PATH}":/usr/local/bin
In any case, I would recommend placing the export command in your user .bash_profile so whenever you login, bf can be found as you desire.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
