    File system query

    Hi all,

I am a beginner in the use of Linux systems but am currently doing alot of work around thin clients.

I recently found that on a /custom partition, i have a /custom/cisco directory. But i have also found a /.cisco directory (cant see this via WinSCP).

Could someone explain what the "/." part of directory refers to?

Apologies for the lack of info

    Amo
