what linux that is more easy that would run fine on a Pentium M 1.7ghz

what linux that is more easy that would run fine on a Pentium M 1.7ghz? Any ideas. I keep installing xp but it keeps corrupting at boot. I run scandisk and hard drive seems fine. It's for a friend in a group home he wants to download torrents, read comic books. I also need one that supports fat32 usb sticks. Ideas? I have Xbuntu but maybe too demanding. Older version? Seems easy so.

Try MX Linux as they try to support older hardware...

Are you a clueless Kali user? If you can't get Kali running on your own, it ain't the right distro for you.

that's a very vague problem description.
    maybe something is wrong.

if it has a usb port, it supports fat32 usb sticks.

mx linux is good. antiX is even lighter.

I tried MX a few weeks ago and it has so much bloat I uninstalled it inmediately...

You should try Debian with LXDE.

I love BodhiLinux myself. Get the AppPack version.
