Unknown Exit Code
Hello.
I have RH9. For now, I only have regular user access, not root. When I get a window requiring the root password and I click on 'cancel', I get a second window stating: Unknown Exit Code. With an OK button to hit. Why doesn't it just accept 'cancel' from the first window?
Thanks

Alison,
Good to see you on here
I've noticed that same error a few times myself. Seems to be just a bug and has no ill effects on anything. Don't worry too much about it.\"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.\"

Ya, it's almost enough to make you want to go back to windoze...not!

At least when you post bugs in linux (in the right places) they'll be fixed ASAP.

Thanks everyone for responding.
I'm not at all worried about it, was only curious. I'm brand new to Linux and don't have a manual or a good reference book yet. Going off to search the forums now for suggestions on which Linux books are best!
Thanks again. Alison
