    wow this is so painful


    well on mandrake i installed quake 3 arena demo, but when i go to run the file, it ses could not find default.cfg, ne1 know know how to fix thiiis?

    The default.cfg file may just be in the wrong place from where the game is expecting it. First, try to find the file yourself.

    Change to root (su --) and run updatedb.

    Then issue something like:
    Code:
    locate default.cfg
    or
    Code:
    find -name default.cfg
