    call me dumb but i screwed it up


    hello i am new to linux and i am runnin XP and linux on one drive. this works fine except i cant find linmodem drivers for my winmodem and a am having a problem with a program that i have. i know how to mount my nt partition and i can do so easily and i use the gnome GUI but i recently downloaded WINE and it was in an RPM format. well it unpacked fine BUT i couldnt find it so i was wondering if any of you could help me. The only thing that i have heard really is look in /usr/src/ but i looked there and no WINE so any help would be very helpfull

    No! Sorry, but I refuse point blank to call you dumb! :P

    Try looking at this page or the links in it, also see if your rpm install gave you a manual page (enter 'man wine') which may help.

    Give up on the winmodem. And try -> whereis wine.
