    Hi,
I'm not sure I'm in the right place but I need help with installing
my printer it is a lexmark z35.
I downloaded the drivers from lexmark and followed the
instructions but it said that usb wasn't loaded in the kernel
I have looked all through the help files on my comp but nothing
is mentioned about installing or turning on usb support
I don't know if it makes any difference but i got my linux
from a mag coverdisk it was mandrake 9.1 on 3 disks that i
had to burn myself, also looking in control centre it showed
the usb hub ok but there was an other device that said
communication device so i thought that was a generic modem
as well as my normal modem which works ok
