Photoeditor and webpage maker?

I need programs similar to Adobe photoshop and GoLive (since I use them alot in school). But I can't find anyone that's available for Linux. Does anyone know of any good programs that Linux supports?

What distro are u using? If you are using RedHat 9 then you get a program called as GIMP which is similar to Photoshop.

for a website editor, since you'll be wanting a wysiawyg (what you see is almost what you get) editor I'd look into Quanta+; n|vu or (I think this is the name) Bluefish.

Bluefish is the right name for it, but it is a simple code editor rather than a wysiwyg editor I like it for makin my php

For website editor you could use Quanta+.

It's what i always used on SuSE for web page authoring/editing, tho i didn't use the wysiwyg part, i jus prefer pure HTML/PHP code
