    How much RAM does Linux support, anyway?

    That depends on the machine architecture. On IA32, it supports the full range of 64 GB that the processor can handle. If you have more than 1 GB, you'll have to compile a kernel with high memory support, though.

    u know what the max is gonna be like when the althon64's come out? (how much do they support and will linux be able to handle it)

    More memory then will probably fit in a server.
