ctrl+a in xchat exits, very annoying

    Hi there,
    I have Fedora Core 4 installed and I use X-Chat 2.4.3.
I'm very new to linux and was very fond of mIRC..
Now I don't know if this is a linux thing, but whenever I type ctrl+a (to select what I just wrote and copy/cut or delete it) it closes my X-Chat :/
This is very annoying.. I do it l once every 10mins I chat.

I looked at the hotkeys under advanced options in X-Chat and couldn't find it anywhere to replace or remove this hotkey..

Anyone know how I can change this?

    thanks

No-one else who experiences this problem?
If I'm the only one, what can I possibly do to fix this?
