    partition magic options with FC4

i am trying to create a new bootable partition for linux on HDD 2. I am going to use FC4.

Partition Magic offers me the opportunity to create a linux ext 2/3 partition or linux swap or fat or fat 32 or nfts.

Which one of these should i go for bearing in mind it will be used for an fc4 install?

    Cheers

you want an ext3 for all of your linux files (including FC4) and you want a smaller linux swap partition for your swap file. most people say the swap should be roughly 2 times the amount of ram on your computer

also, if you need to share files with a windows system, make a fat32 partition also as both linux and windows can read/write it
