I'm trying to set up lm_sensors on an Asus K8V-X mobo. I don't really know what I'm doing, and can't really find anything particularly clear on their website, so I would appreciate someone holding my hand as I go through it.

    I'm running a 2.6 kernel on FC4 64-bit.

    Do you have lm_sensors installed?

If so open a terminal and go to super user.

Use the following command and follow the instructions. Copy/Paste the configuration into the required files.
    sensors -detect
You'll also need a program such as Gkrellm to display the temps, fan speed, and voltages.
