    Slackware iso download question

I have been wanting to try Slackware for awhile, however, when I go to their site and try to download it, I'm not sure what I need to download. Most other sites where you download distros from hve the .iso's right there, on the Slackware site there are a bunch of different folders and stuff. So what do I need to download?

If you choose to use a different mirror, look for the folder called slackware-<version>-iso.

Every time I start to download it in KNOPPIX the whole thing freezes up. Anyone know why? It happens with anything that has a large download size.

You mean the download freezes, or Knoppix freezes?

Do you have the right permissions to the mounted hard drive you are trying to save the download to (assuming you are running Knoppix from the CD)?
