    can someone tell what is the command for unzip a file?

    And type
    Code:
    man unzip
    To see the available arguments.

    no need to specify where to unzip the file??

    By default it will extract its contents to the current dir.
    Now, if you wanna specify a folder...
    Code:
    unzip file.zip -d /tmp/
