    Question accesing linux


    is there anyway to access my files in m,y lionux partition through windows?

    i am running i think "Mpeis 2.6.7" i think plz help me i am NOOOB

    There is a way but it will have to be enabled in the kernel. You can read yoru windows files through linux natively but to change you will have to allow it in the kernel. The reason is it is not perfected yet so native support isn't ready. Hopefully soon
    Try this in a command line
    df -h
    then you should see a window folder mine looks like this
    /ntfs
    then type cd /ntfs
    then ls
    this will show you what is there but you won't be able to do anything till you recompile your kernel.

    You mean to see the Linux files while in Windows?

    This is possible, but may be slightly unstable. Your choice, though.

    You'll need a Windows program that can read ext3 partitions (assuming that you're using ext3). One such program is Ext2 IFS for Windows:
