The other, and more important, concern that I have is my AOL connection. Currently I'm on a 2meg broadband connection which is soon to upgraded to 8 meg. How do I configure AOL to run in Suse? At full speed? Sorry if this query is in the wrong thread now - hey mods! feel free to move it!

Your gfx card is supported, you'll have to install the nvidia drivers for access to the full capabilities of the card(stuff like hardware 3d acceleration and hardware decoder for video). Xorg has drivers already for the card to use basic 2d functions.

For your AOL connection have a look at http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/index.php?lang=en. Its the modem drivers for the BT voyager modem, just install set the username, password and connect.
