    hi all,
    After i had change my terminal's text color, all color for my Java code become same, is it possible for me to change back to the default termainal setting for the text color, so that it shows different for java keywords.

    you could download eclipse for free and do your java in there. This would automatically solve your color problem, and java would look better than in the CLI.

    Java colors in vim?
    Very easy, just create yourself an ".vimrc" file.

    So, "/home/yourself/.vimrc" should look like that:

    set sm
    
    set ai
    
    syntax on
    
    let java_highlight_all=1
    
    let java_highlight_functions="style"
    
    let java_allow_cpp_keywords=1
    Then once you start vim again it will be color coded for java syntax...

    I know, but i can't force my customer to install it right as i'm in customer. For me i'm using NetBeans.

    Do u know what is the original color code for the slackware's terminal?
