DSL Linux
I just discovered DSL Linux and am very excited about it. However, I am also a little afraid of it. I want to use it from within windows. Do I have to download to a disc and boot my computer from the disc or can I download directly to my hard drive. I read where if I boot improperly, I can wipe out my windows operating system. Also what is an ISO for?
Thanks,
Ronnieb

Welcome to the forums!

*download iso
*burn as an "image" to a cd
*boot computer with disk in drive
*the computer will run from cd only
*you can install to hard drive if desired
