    Question imac 233mhz

hi, i had an old imac 233mhz, i think its 32mb ram years ago and decided to dig it out of the cupboard. I gave my mother it because all she uses a computer for is to shop for cheap holidays, flights etc. even though she only does this she uses probably 15 or so times a month (she goes on holiday a lot).

anyway onto what i wanted to know. Currently it has ubuntu 5.04 and using gnome. now this is extremely slow as expected, so i'm wondering what would be the best thing to put on it for her so it has a bit more speed (i'm not expecting it to be like a porsche). even if thers a different desktop environment that could be installed on ubuntu that is less demanding than gnome. she would probably be happy if there was n othing on the screen except a firefox icon lol.

    thanks in advance

Cant you just set up her system so it starts firefox full-screen and doesn't even bother with a WM? It'd be real lightweight then.
