    SUSE Linux-Hardware Requirements

I have an eval copy of SUSE Enterprise Server 9 and plan on installing on a Intel Pentium based server. As long as the server is a Pent II or above, has 512mb RAM and 40 mb hard disk, how concerned do I have to be with this version of Linux running on this server? This is not production, just R&D at this point.

40MB harddrive and SuSE, then you might be concerned yes. 40MB is a bit low (not much more than the HDD my almost 20 years old Atari 286-model). I suppose you meant GB. I don't have much experience with SuSE, especially not server, so I won't be much use there.

You seem to be above the minimum spec.
