    Internet connection dead today

Last night, my Internet connection was working. I started up Kubuntu this afternoon and all of a sudden, I cannot access the internet at all. I don't have a firewall and I don't see what could have changed since last night. What can I do?

I haven't made any changes since last night so why am I unable to connect?

    Hey noescasa!

Try not to double post. Just edit your first one. I'm thinking that your internet connection may not be working because of the physical connection. Is the internet cable secure in the computer and other connection points?

I know it's secure because when I dual boot Windows, I am able to connect to the Internet perfectly fine.

You may have to open up a console and manually configure it to the internet again. Try and see if there are any FAQ's in the Kubuntu website, or check out their Wiki page. Good luck

Is Kppp giving you a "modem is busy" response, or another message?
