    Linux suse10.0 wont load


    ok so ive got my new laptop and i thought i would have a go with putting linux on it.So after so so so many problems. i have installed suse multiple times and formated the whole hdd. it goes to grub i select suse and it just doesn't boot .

    i dont know what the hell the problem is

    Don't know if it'll help in your case, but I've read that disabling acpi works for some users.

    Any error messages? Also, like ozar mentioned, try disabling acpi during boot.
