    run
    Code:
    fdisk /mbr
from a DOS prompt... that will put the M$ bootloader back on the MBR
Their code will be beautiful, even if their desks are buried in 3 feet of crap. - esr

as you'll have already guessed, grub needs to have the stuff in /boot/grub/ to work, while lilo can get by without any linux partion (once you've installed it).

    have fun

Use Suse 10.1 and occasionally play with Kubuntu
Also have Windows 98SE and BeOS
