    migrating win2k dns server to linux dns


    wht is the best approach to migrate existing win2k dns server with the linux server without affecting the client....

    If you don't want to change the DNS IP addresses on the clients, your only option is to set up the Linux DNS server to that it has the same RRs as the windows one, then give it the IP of the Windows server and switch them physically on the network really fast.
    (OK, then, there _are_ other ways, but it's not too easy, and at least I don't know how to perform them on a Windows machine)
