Editing archive?
So i had to edit an archive .....
Not knowing what i was doing i extracted it...
So here i sit with an uncompressed edited archive that needs to be compressed.....
I've tried everything in Ark in KDE ...
it's gotta be something so simple.
It is the driver for my Keyboard which still works (i dont why, but it dose)...

tar -cf archive.tar folder && gzip archive.tar , Dont know why i posted that for you ever heard of Google or man or dan's tutorial?

Well maby not total thnx..... that makes tarballs.
.. i was looking for how to make a non self extracting archives
i am not looking to tar it but rather just how to zip it
