    Question delete files datewise

    hello to all...

    am new to this forum...

    am having a doubt..can anyone tell me,

    " is there any way to remove files from a directory datewise. i.e i have a cron file in that i want to set a time ,on every 25th of a month i want to remove files till 15th of the month.

    so is it possible by using 'rm' command...delete files upto 15th of the month.."

    please help me...

    Hmmm, I'm getting deja-vu here...

    Posting the same question on multiple forums is against the rules. Personally, I consider it impolite to do this as it shows that you couldn't be bothered to read the rules before you posted (which you are asked to do...). It certainly wont get you an answer any quicker - it just puts peoples backs up.

    I feel kinda inclined to go delete the answer I gave on the other thread... only kidding, but please dont post this way. It doesn't help.
