    I've got some little prob here!I kind of know how to format a flashdisk with the GUI but how do i do it at the command line interface?which commands to use?

    The command you are looking for is probably mkfs - specifically mkfs.msdos if you want it to be FAT. I personally like to format in the GUI because I've seen bad formats destroy discs, but running
    Code:
    man  mkfs.msdos
    may help.

    what about
    Code:
    mkfs.vfat
    for FAT32?
