    rpmdrake doesnt work :(

I just started using Mandrake 9.2 and i want to install the videodrivers, since they wont install properly i thought it would be good to run rpmdrake to update the kernel and search for the drivers there (Radeon 9600 Pro).

But rpmdrake gives the following error message after a few minutes:

Unable to update medium; it will be automatically disabled.
    Errors:
retrieve of source hdlist (or synthesis) failed
no hdlist file found from medium "update_source"
problem reading synthesis file of medium "update_source"

    Can anyone help me?

    edit:
It seems to be looking for updates in ftp://ftp.stealth.net/pub/mirrors/ft...dates/9.2/RPMS
but when i try to open it in a browser, its not found. Maybe i need another location?

did you insert that server into rpmdrake yourself? didyou do it correctly?
delete/desable that server from your servers list.
try entering another server, and it should work...

i have only got the mandreakupdate thing to work once, and it didnt fidn it that great, msotly coz my 56k took too long.

new kernel sources can be obtained from rpm.pbone.net (search for kernel-source)

www.ati.com has soem llinux radeon drivers for download which apprently work ok.
