    Hi there

    Hi

I'm new to Linux, I'm planing on starting of with Fedora and moving on from there.

I have one question at the moment and it is this, does Fedora have a decent programming environment available that is easy to learn ?

    Any language in particular?

Linux has a few IDE's available, including "Anjuta" and "Quanta Plus".

Anything really based around, C++, Basic, Pascal.

I wouldlike to get one that is well documented and is easy to learn and gives complete listings of most if not all available functions.

I Use delphi at the moment which is object pascal.

ps. when you install Fedora make sure that you select the correct application set (one for development) to ensure that you get all of the programing tools

Use Suse 10.1 and occasionally play with Kubuntu
Also have Windows 98SE and BeOS

Don't forget that you can program the Linux shell and produce quite a powerful app. without having to compile anything
