    sis 6326 AGP Driver Problems

I have a sis 6326 AGP card in my box. From my research, I've found that X has a problem with that card. I downloaded the new driver from a link on XFree.org. And, X is still just sitting at a blank screen. Also, if I solve this I would like to stop using X as soon as I get the server configured so, how do I stop x from starting?

You stop X from starting by chnaging the default runlevel in /etc/inittab. Runlevel needed depends on yer distro though.

Did you edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config file?
