    How to Tranfer Files in SSH


    I am a real newbie, and i got it all install, and im tring to fetch a file VIA web in ssh, but i dont know the command to do so??

    FYI im tring to get webmin...

    use the "wget" utility to retreive a file from a remote http or ftp server.

    for example, to download the front page of this site, you would do:

    Code:
    wget http://www.linuxforums.org/index.php
    this would "get" index.php from www.linuxforums.org and save it locally in your current working directory.
