    Linux to windows

    Hi all

    A total newbie to the world of Linux here

    I have Red hat 6 and I need to get several screenshots (using The Gimp) from that machine to another machine running Windows 2000 using a floppy preferably, I have been trying but with no success
    When I try to send the gif to the floppy it gives me permission errors

    Any help would be grateful

    (Networking is not a option as the Linux machine has no NIC and no CDR)

    Did you mount the floppy before you used it?
    Code:
    # First mount it
    $ mount /mnt/floppy

    # Then copy
    $ cp ~/file.png /mnt/floppy

    # The unmount it
    $ umount /mnt/floppy

    Are you using NTFS on the Win2k box? Also if you could post the error(s) here so we could see them?
