    NFORCE2 Ethernet Problems

OK.. The big nforce 2 problem again.
Let me just say i have been over this for 2 days now and still cant find the solution.

ANY help would be appreciated on this front as i am another noob learning the ways of linux.

    OK.. The story so far.
Dual booted RED HAT 9 with windows XP.
Works well except Sound (Sounblaster 5.1) and Internet (NFORCE2) on a MSI K7N2 Delta Motherboard.

Got drivers from NVIDIA.. Installed RPM's........ Still No Internet
then got NVIDIA_nforce-1.0-0261.src.rpm .. Rebuilt and Installed... Still No Internet.

Googled Problem and found an ABIT driver somebody had posted.. Installed and HOORAY.. Internet worked .

Installed all the RED HAT UPDATES.. Rebooted and ......... NO INTERNET
So now im using the Linux Bak Option in LILO to send this message.

Does any body know how to cure this frustrating problem.. Before i even start on the sound..
Why did it work before the updates were installed is the most annoying part..

    Plz help..

Did one of the updates that you happened to perform be a Kernel update. If that is the case then you will have to re-do the installation of those drivers.

This happens to me every time that I update the kernel.
